Uptown 11 is a contextually responsive, mixed-use building whose design is the result of an extensive collaboration with the Queen Anne Community Council. The UPTOWN sign, incorporation of a Metro bus stop and a micro-retail space, as well as the Seattle Center inspired, rational facades resulted from Council's guidance. Project architects Roma Shaw and Troy Lacombe worked closely with local artist Kyler Martz to incorporate his 1962 Seattle World's Fair and space travel inspired wall mural within the architectural and contextual cues of the building.
